I am trying to buy a toothbrush to go to Italy and the cheapest one I can find is £4!!
I don’t buy toothbrushes very often because generally I get them for free but I need one for going away so I have to pay the price.
What kind of society do we live in where we are charging some of the most vulnerable members of our society £4 to buy something to clean their teeth? If they don’t clean their teeth the health problems are obvious and evident and evidence based.
There needs to be a re-direction of some sort of budget from somewhere to allow the prescription of toothbrushes to people on the very lowest rung of the ladder.
