It’s nice to live in a world where we think that if we make the right decision and do the right thing then no one will be upset.
Sadly, in terms of leadership, that is a complete fallacy.
It generally works that you can look after 1 group, or you can look after another, but you can’t look after both.
In taking care of 1, you may well alienate the other but that is the price of being a decision maker.
Best to get your values straight, your mission clear and then look after the people who are on your bus.
