Life Artist

Some people pass through life like they're painting a masterpiece like they are sculpting something perfect from a block of marble.

They look like it's just natural, doing the right things, looking after themselves, and living the right way. It seems to come completely naturally to those people; they're an absolute wonder to watch, they seem to make the right decisions, do the right things, and associate with the right people; they're contented, happy and unaffected; they just go along living the way they should live doing the things they should do.

That's not me.

I have to reinforce and reinforce every single day (It's exhausting) every time I slip up, I have to pull myself up and give myself a talking-to and tell myself that I have to be better and that next week or next month or next year, I will reach that phase of being a better version of myself (I never will)

It's ok though, isn't it? Because for the vast majority of us, we can look at the artist and admire but understand that we're not them, and the falling down and getting back up is actually what we do and who we are and, to a point, why we're here.
