In the gap between ‘I would really like to do that job/project’ and ‘look what I’ve achieved’ is hard work and effort and stamina.
Before you put your hand up and say that you would like it, understand what hard work and effort and stamina is required.
Absolutely everybody would like to get to the other side but not absolutely everybody is prepared to do what it takes to get to that other side.
