Many years ago, as I started out on the journey of exploring people that were very good at running businesses, my friend and somehow relative by marriage, Shaun Reason, used to go to the London Business Forum.
This was a place where city traders or big business owners or CEO’s went to hear inspirational speakers speak and inspire to let them drive their business in the direction they wanted.
I was sneaking in through the back door because Shaun, at that stage was CEO of HCS.
On one of these occasions and totally by accident we saw a business coach called Nigel May Barlow. He was a warm-up act for Edward de Bono of lateral thinking fame.
The thing I remember about Nigel May Barlow was that he kept saying ‘it’s already late’.
That was his catchphrase.
What I think he meant was ‘before it’s too late’.
So, what are you going to do before it’s too late because, for every single one of us, it is already late?
