Getting high on your own supply

Written by Colin Campbell | 21/01/20 18:00

Steve Jobs would have not let his kids have iPads.

He banned technology at the table.

When his auto biographer was at his house for dinner, he observed this, in full flow.

Within the table was sacred to Jobs, the man who ruined a billion family dinners with digital interruption.

The trick through was that the “technology genius' didn’t get high on their own supply."

I remember when the chief executive of Pizza Hut or KFC or somewhere else (probably all) let loose that he didn’t let his kids eat in the restaurant’s in the company for which he was in charge, because it wasn’t healthy.

Probably worth wondering this, when you download the next app on your phone or god forbid, when you upgrade your phone.

These people are not making these devices for themselves.

They’re making them for you to lock you in, to spend as much time as you can on it to sell your eyeballs to advertising them.

It is alright, the fact that you’re being played. It is just better to know that you’re being played and to allow it to happen as a conscious decision.
