The Campbell Academy Blog

Distribution of funds

Three years ago I instigated a project to undertake research at the Campbell clinic, this was a long term project which we knew would only gain results after years of trying and some incidences of despondency and despair.

Before that I instituted a project to collect 1% of our turnover across the academy and the clinic and the lab and donate this to good causes (or what we feel are good causes). As I sit now in the midst of this crazy project of building a new practice, I look at the costs of both of those projects and see exactly where I could spend that money.

And so what to do??

I can cut those out right now, save the money and recycle it back into the build project.

With the money saved from those two projects alone, I could probably buy my dream car in two years (on finance).

I would have the practice that I wanted and I would be able to drive up to the front door in the car that I wanted and I would look great!!

And so, why not? Why not collect the cash and run and get the things that I want?

When I set this project going about three years ago, it was on a foundation of principle.

It would be tough going now to fracture the base and to continue to build the pyramid.

As difficult as this project has been and will still become, it would be much harder if I was to cast aside the principles upon which is was built, for a bit of light now and a lot of darkness later.
