How many times are you apologising in an email on the telephone or to a patient for being late?
This has to become one of my great KPI (Key Performance Indicators to measure) as i'm identifying the fact that I am saying this more and more.
If you have recently had an email from me to say "sorry this reply is late" you will understand what I mean.
It's a sign that things are a little bit too busy so you either have to start saying no more or delegate better to more staff.
I meant to write this blog ages ago but I did't have enough time!
