Is what you’re working on, bigger than you?
Does it benefit more than just you and your immediate circle?
Are you paying it forwards?
Will it still be here when you’re not?
It is (relatively) easy to build something personally by sheer force of will and hold it together in your own mind.
To build something bigger though, to build something that you can set sail into the world and leave it be.
…That would be clever.
