A second thanks to Pete Buchan for the quote for our ‘Quote wall’ in the Campbell Academy which is being constructed now.
It’s actually called ‘the inspiration wall’, if you come to the Academy then you will get the opportunity to suggest something to be added to the wall.
Pete Buchan my great friend of old from Edinburgh suggested ‘Be Not Afraid’.
Pete I would be delighted to place that on the wall once you’ve visited!!
He is right though; the fear is crippling and it’s blinding and it’s disorientating and confusing.
Choose to be afraid or choose not to be afraid because fear is a choice.
Choosing not to be afraid does not make the situation better, it just gives you the opportunity to navigate the situation in a better way.
Lack of fear does not remove the disastrous circumstance, it just brings clarity to the process of trying to navigate the disastrous circumstance.
I know you’re scared right now or at least at times throughout this process that we find ourselves in but it’s always worth remembering that it will not help you get to the other side.
