Stress is bad enough without anticipated stress. 

Imagining that the worst-case scenario is going to happen tomorrow can assure you in some ways from disappointment but not at the expense of paralysing you from doing todays work. 

Perspective is the key to the reduction of anticipated stress. 

Putting buffers in your life to create perspective tends to give you a handle to grab onto when the anticipated stress takes hold.
