When you reach the end of an agreement, deal, or partnership, when you know it's the end, it's best to get it done.
Best to leave something on the table, walk away and go and do something positive and productive and decent and good instead of trying to wrestle in the swamp where nobody wins and nobody feels better about it.
Leaving things on the table, leaving them as a sunk cost, never to be seen again, is a skill, talent, and muscle that you can develop.
There's usually something much, much better just around the corner.
