What next?

If you are a practice owner or you take over a practice, it’s exciting, at least for a while. But then the question can appear, what next?

All too soon though the shine wears off and you can be stuck in the grind of trying to run a dental business whilst trying to be a good practitioner too.

Sometimes in these circumstances what next is a new clinical skill and entering a new tribe.

For myself, in my 20 years in implant dentistry I have made some of the best friends I have known in my life. This doesn’t happen by accident, people share experiences, they go through a pathway of learning a new skill, the ups and the downs, the good and the bad and it makes relationships strong and deep.

We have watched over the last few years our delegates in our courses forge friendships together that will last forever. Like the ones you made at university. They will continue to communicate and meet up with each other moving forwards as they progress up the pyramid of implant dentistry to levels of competence greater than they could've ever imagined, strengthened by the knowledge they have learned together.

Dentistry can be a lonely ‘sport’ and one of the best ways to cure the loneliness is to share the experiences of improvement with others.

If you would like to find out how we facilitate that through many different means at The Campbell Academy, then let us know, we really understand the importance of this.
