In 2010 the ITI (International Team for Implantology) worldwide launched the concept of the ITI study club.
Part of the mission statement of the ITI is to promote and disseminate knowledge on implant dentistry and related topics and infact, over the past few years the most important job of the ITI has been the education of practitioners interested in implant dentistry.
The concept of the study club was to provide high level, quality, research based education in implant dentistry to as many practitioners around the world as possible and the United Kingdom now has in excess of 50 fifty ITI study clubs approved.
The concept of the study club is amazing and allows ITI members in a locality free access to fantastic CDP with excellent speakers.
In the Summer of this year, I will be hosting the first meeting of the Nottingham ITI study club and I will announce the first speaker in due course. I can tell you that the speaker comes from London and is a very high profile practitioner in implant dentistry whos clinical work and photography is outstanding. It will be an event not to be missed.
Non-members can attend and ITI study club on 1 or 2 occasions prior to joining the ITI and I will be encouraging anyone involved in implant dentistry in Nottingham to attend.
Places on ITI study clubs are strictly limited to a maximum of 30 therefore it is on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.
