Ever since April, since The Campbell Academy came together with Chris Barrow, we've been imagining, envisaging and reinventing how we go about business education, utilising all the strengths of both of those organisations together.

Ever since April, since The Campbell Academy came together with Chris Barrow, we've been imagining, envisaging and reinventing how we go about business education, utilising all the strengths of both of those organisations together.

The next round for The Campbell Academy will be the Digital Dental Entrepreneurial Programme and the Bootcamp course, but perhaps it's worth a little explanation about the advantages and the features of both of these options.

The way we see the world in terms of dental business is that everybody should have a plan.

You can write that plan yourself, you can construct it by watching YouTube videos or reading business books, or you can pick it out of the air, but have a plan; otherwise, you are at the mercy of all the external pressures, the noise and everything to do with these things.

Once you have a plan, then you can work to that plan. Try not to be distracted and try to knock the skittles down week after week, month after month, year after year.

We started this process for ourselves in 2017, and we have taught it from that time.

We have lots of friends and associations where people have been successful using this model.

Going forward, in all our business education, the centre of this will be the plan.

Helping people to build a plan away from the external noise of things which they don't need to worry about.

The Digital Dental Entrepreneurial Programme allows you to do that from the 'comfort' of your own home. The next programme starts online on the 26th October.

There's nothing comfortable about that course; it's hard, and the work comes thick and fast, but you don't have to travel, and you can continue to work in your practice and not lose the income.

There's a price to pay for that, and you'll be doing the work at night and at weekends, but that's the choice you make, so you don't have to sacrifice your normal working hours. When you come out of that course, if you've done it properly and done your homework, you'll have a 3-year plan which will catapult you forward to the next stage of your journey.

The Dental Entrepreneurial Bootcamp is a similar course, but it's over a week. For that, you have to sacrifice a week's work, but you come for five days and become completely immersed in The Campbell Academy's business education philosophy, exiting with a 3-year plan at the end in order for you to go forwards, grow your business and develop it the way that you have decided to do, without the external noise of other people on social media and elsewhere.

This autumn, we'll be running the Bootcamp course in Nottingham from the 2nd to the 6th of November and at Wrights Dental in Dundee from the 9th to the 13th of November.

These courses are starting in the autumn, and they're becoming more and more successful and more and more thought after every time we run one. We're planning to have four Bootcamp courses this year due to the increase in demand, and we're rolling out Digital Dental Entrepreneurial Programmes in the UK and further afield, based around what people need.

The kicker here, though, is that once you've made your plan, you need to be coached. You can do that from wherever you want. You can appoint a non-exec director to your business, you can get your father-in-law, who used to own a factory, to help you, but always make the time to come back to your plan with someone external, look at it and readjust your course. This is the key to success.

This is always what we have done and always what we'll advise for the people that we work with.

The Campbell Clinic Group is currently growing at 34%, completely against the trends of the market. We're only doing this because we have a strategy, and we implement that strategy.

I think you should do the same. Success is just around the corner.
