Everybody else is better than me at something: richer, better looking, skinnier, fitter, faster, stronger, more houses, more friends, more status - I can always find people who are better than me at things.
Once you realise that you're always losing to someone else, you can get on with the work of just trying to make a difference on a day-by-day basis, not worrying what everybody else looks like or thinks or says.
