Time for some fun?

It’s been hard for everyone and lives have changed dramatically, some people have had a really terrible time.

Hope of better times and better things is the thing that generally keeps us going and has always kept us going.

It might be hope for Friday night with your family or it might be hope for a holiday but here’s two things that are coming up later in the year (or I certainly hope are coming up) that for people in my line of work and in my place might be something to look forward to.

  1. The Campbell Clinic Charity Ball

I hope nobody thinks that this is some sort of monuments ego, it’s just a way for people to have a lot of fun and raise a lot of money.

This will be the sixth charity ball (the seventh one we’ve ever booked but obviously didn’t run it last year).

It’s in Nottingham on November 6th and you can book and pay for a table now and get all of your money back if for any reason it doesn’t go ahead.

At the moment, we are assuming it’s going ahead under normal circumstances and it will be crackers and mental.

There’s lots of tables booked already by friends and people that we know through work, if you’re keen to come along, it’s compulsory fancy dress. Bring a table of friends or bring your team and it will be a riot.

Hope to see you there.

2) ITI UK and Ireland Congress

This is obviously specific really for people who are interested in implant dentistry but it’s a chance to bring your whole team, including your nurses, technicians, hygienists and anyone who’s interested in implant dentistry or working together.

There’s a specific dental nurse programme and a specific hygienist programme and a brilliant programme for dentists.

There's a social (at least more than one social) and it’s due to go ahead in Edinburgh at the start of October.

We’re hoping that lots of our friends that we know through The Academy and through dentistry are going to meet in Edinburgh for that and have a brilliant time.

I really hope to see you there, the link to book is here.

You’ll get tons and tons out of it from an implant point of view because it’s totally brilliant (I’ve been involved with the ITI for nearly 25 years) but the social stuff will be amazing and it will just feel like normal.

Again, you’ll get your money back if it doesn’t go ahead.

Hope to see you at one, but ideally both of these.
