Last mentions of Mallorca, I promise.
One of the reasons for coming here was to go to the conference in Palma for the first three days of our trip, from Thursday to Saturday.
One of the reasons for going there was to meet someone and talk to them about technology.
One of the reasons to talk about the technology was to start the process of scoping the next five years of the clinical tech stack at The Campbell Clinic.
This might seem like a luxury or pie in the sky, but in five years, I will be really pleased that I started today.
Considerations of technology have become a huge, big part of my job wondering what to spend our money on, wondering where to partner, wondering what the systems to integrate in and to spend all the effort and the heartache of training the team so that things are better ultimately for the patient who receives the treatment.
And so, going back to the philosophy of what technology is for. We have this thing at our place where we say, “We use the technology to make us more human”.
And to give you a weird out of left field example of that, the picture attached to this blog is exactly where I dictated this blog and sent it to Millie to type, hopefully, an example of using Slack (part of our tech stack) as technology allows you to feel more human while you read it.
