The view from up here is irrelevant.

Because that would involve looking down.

To look down is to survey your domain, to look down is to see where you’ve come from, to look down is to revel in your success or any glory that you have.

To look down, at the view from up here, is to trip and fall.

It is to see how difficult it is to stay on the tightrope, it is to see how seemingly impossible it is to put one foot in front of the other towards a better place.

I choose not to look down.

I choose to look ahead up the path.
