You don't need to be finished; in fact, it's excellent that you are not. The chance to come back again tomorrow to do something worthwhile and interesting is a gift.
We imagine "it will all be alright when we are finished", but it won't.
There is only one real finish, and no one really wants that.
The long term is a long time away, and travelling towards it and seeing all the sights is really the work.
