I think at the very heart of it all, I'm a dreamer; I dream all the time, lots of my waking hours.
I dream when I'm operating on patients (Is that a bad thing?).
I dream in the middle of conversations with other people (that's definitely a bad thing).
Most of the things I dream never come true, but some of them do, and some of them come partly true, and some of the journeys towards the dreams that I wish would come true go to places I never imagined and provide me with things that I could never have even dreamed about.
It doesn't really matter if the dreams come true because we only live here now, right this minute.
It's just the process that counts.
