I’ve been providing courses in dentistry in one form or another since 1995.
Everyone who attends a course gets something different.
It seems in the current environment people expect and want the same (the laminate that tells you everything).
What happens on a course though is that you take exactly what you need.
I’ve been on a lot of 2-day courses here at The Academy and many of them are provided by extraordinary people and I want to gain as much information from them as I can, but I generally find that I can’t handle the whole of the 2 days.
I sit, I scribble, I create and then I have a break and part of the process of building this place was to allow me to walk out there and sit somewhere else.
Enhanced CPD is like personalised medicine.
It’s bespoke to what the individual needs, but it also relies on them taking responsibility of getting exactly what they need from the experience.
