Over the horizon

Written by Colin Campbell | 22/04/20 17:00

It seems, more than ever, everyone wants to see what is over the horizon.

They’re desperate to look into the future to see whether it will be safe, to see whether it will be the same as the past or as close enough as not to be uncomfortable.

Everyone want’s to see if the rules will be the same tomorrow as they were yesterday.

The fact is though, despite current events, you could never see over the horizon.

The last time we had a financial crash in 2008 almost nobody had an iPhone.

Prior to that in 1998 nobody had a website, there was nothing like social media and almost no one was placing Dental Implants or providing any aspect of real Cosmetic Dentistry.

In 1998 it was almost impossible to get finance to have your Dental treatment.

The fact is, you changed in that 22-year period by evolution but never noticed.

If you catapulted from 1998 (the first year I ever placed a Dental Implant) to 2020, it would perhaps have been such a shock to the system that you wouldn’t have survived.

You can’t see over the horizon, you never could and so the best thing to do is to be the best you can today.
