Logic vision

Written by Colin Campbell | 22/04/21 17:00

A couple of blogs back to back on different concepts we are adopting in the practice, trying to plan through the madness to the next three - five years.

I need to give my close friend and close colleague, Carl Dunstan, full credit for this.

In a recent annual appraisal for Carl who now works with us at the clinic, he coined the phrase ‘logic vision’.

Logic vision is the application of operation to vision which sounds like a bit of a mouthful but is absolutely instinctively fundamental.

I am the type of individual who walks into a practice on a Monday morning and says “we’re going in this direction” and then by Wednesday I’ve changed direction again and on the following Monday I’m in a completely different place.

I have no shortage of ideas but I have a real shortage of structure.

I am a starter who cannot abide finishing, who needs to be surrounded by finishers, who are happy to let me start.

Carl is something different, he is a starter with logic.

To take vision and to apply logic to the vision is what we’re trying to do, to continue our success and to move forwards into a different place.

Carl has been instrumental in the implementation of logic vision into The Campbell Clinic and Campbell Academy and on our business courses and our business discussions, this is something that we’ll be talking about now for years and trying to assist other people with because there’s peace and sanity here, away from the distraction of what everybody else is doing.

Very much appreciate Carl, Lesson learnt.
