Junk mail

Written by Colin Campbell | 01/11/21 18:00

I got back from holiday today and was looking through emails.

I had a lecture invitation to speak for Geistlich next year but apparently it had been sent through a week before by someone else and they were asking why I hadn’t responded to it.

I decided to have a quick look in junk (never done this before) to see if it was stuck in there (which it wasn’t) and was staggered.

If we don’t find ways to turn off the information stream that’s fired towards us at every opportunity, we are dead.

Looking at the garbage which was sat in junk and understanding that it’s only once removed from the garbage which is actually in my inbox, which is the garbage which is everywhere else, I was staggered thinking about my children scrolling through instagram which is in fact junk mail all of the time.
