Junctions

Written by Colin Campbell | 07/03/23 18:00

I was driving to the station last Thursday, speaking on handsfree in the car.

I missed my turn off.

It was okay though, I only had to travel about two miles, go around the roundabout at the M1 junction and come back to the station.

I'd already missed my train.

What a metaphor that is ay?

If the junction coming up is really important, if it might be possible that if you missed it, you couldn't get to where you were going.

Would you slow down?

Would you make absolutely certain that the road you were on was the right one because the consequences of missing your junction would be catastrophic?

All too often we miss a junction like that, and we can never take it again.
