Consciously Losing

Every time you see a band when you're at Glastonbury, they say that you're missing out on approximately 60 other bands that you could be seeing at the same time.

When you think about it like that, you're losing such an enormous.

You've paid your entry into the festival, which is not inexpensive, and yet you're missing out on a huge percentage of the guys that are actually performing.

What you're doing there is you're making a choice and selecting and creating focus, and understanding that the value to you may be different to the value to someone else. What you're doing is consciously losing the opportunity to see all the rest of the bands, to take the opportunity to see the one you want to see right now.

As a metaphor, it's quite powerful. What are you going to give away today? What are you going to give up? What are you going to lose in order to get to a better place?
