Clusters

Things go wrong in clusters. They group together.

For some reason this has always been true in child leukemia and it is certainly true in implant failure but it is also true for just general stuff that goes wrong.

I know this to be the case because I have been through phases of clusters many times before, both in my work life and my home life. There is always another side after a cluster or there is a better place that you rarely appreciate until the next cluster comes along. Possibly two ways to approach a cluster…

1. With sad recognition that the world is against you and it is time to give up, bail out and climb into a hole.
2. Or say sorry to anyone affected, learn what you can, try to make it make you a little bit better and move along knowing it will be over in a minute.
