Another 45 mins

On the way back from another trip.

One day, I'll look back at these, all the little trinkets I collect, the blogs and a few pictures, and I'll remember with wonder the places I went to and things I was (briefly) allowed to do, chairing committees (Who the f£%k do I think I am), moderating sessions at Global ITI events (even if they can't understand me).

For now, though, I want to be home.

I travelled to Paris Wednesday PM with a crutch after the surgery. So many kind people offered to help me, none more so than the lady in Paris on the Eurostar who took one look and moved to allow me a row of 4 seats to myself.

I write this there now. I'm 30 mins early, but it will be £90 to upgrade my LNER ticket to get home 45 mins before time.

It feels super important that 45mins... it's worth it.

Funny thing is, they should all be.

I don't have an unending supply.
