Up North – A Job Opportunity

If you look of a map of Scotland, Perth sits right in the middle. It’s geographically about the same from top to bottom, but in terms of everyone else in the UK it is quite far north.

I know it better than I used to, I have travelled there quite a few times in the past few years for work for one reason or another, it’s one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen.

So an opportunity has arisen in the practice of one of my best friends, for someone to go work and live in Perthshire.

The practice is brand new (it’s being re located from it’s existing building and opens in a fortnight). The principles are high-level advanced Cerec users and have been for many years, they also have a CBCT machine and provide dental implants in a majority private environment.

Above all they are fantastic clinicians, ethical operators and wonderful people who are building something very special in a very very special place.

They spoke to me recently and I more than happily agreed to put this blog out because I am sure that there is somebody that reads this or knows of someone who would be perfect for this job. So here it goes.

I believe the job is best suited to someone in the early stages of their career, perhaps just out of VT or VT+1.

I believe it’s someone who doesn’t want to be involved in the rat race anymore, that rat race being normal life travelling in urban areas or the rat race of working within an NHS contract.

I believe this job will suit someone who wants to be an ethical and excellent clinician for many years so come, getting to know their patients and their community. Building something brilliant in a beautiful part of the world.

It will also suit someone that likes to be outside, Perthshire offers every single aspect of outside living, from mountain biking to rock climbing, kayaking to hill walking, cycling and loch swimming.

Spread the word, because these opportunities don’t come along very often. The person interested in this job would need to want to commit for the long term to help build something absolutely wonderful. If you’re interested and you get this by email hit reply to me or email me on the address below and I will pass on your details. Good luck.
