The Business Course Part 2

We are 4 modules into this course with 2 still to go, we haven’t done Personal Leadership or Strategic Planning yet but we have tied everything else up for now. We are still to have our final course dinner at The Campbell Clinic’s Charity Ball, but here are some of the things that people have learned which have helped them to make their money back from the cost of the course so far.
1. We stopped someone signing up to Pay Per Click and saved them thousands of pounds. We had an honest discussion about why they were doing it and in the course they explained they weren’t sure. In fact it is likely that it wouldn’t have brought them any ROI at all. We saved them a fortune.
2. We assisted a practice in moving along several important toxic members of staff who were causing extreme difficulty and draining the practice. Changes in the practice because of that will probably fund the course itself let alone anything else.
3. We have helped a practice strategically plan finances, HR and marketing and then they moved to a new site. The turnover in the practice will rocket as soon as they move, paying for the course several times over. In fact one of the Principals of the practice is visible in the video of the Business Course explaining why everyone should do it.
4. We helped another practice to write from scratch their financial monitoring system. The very fact that they have done that within their own practice will save them thousands and thousands of pounds a year.
5. We helped another practice strategically plan for their future and using the amount of space they have in their building, advising them on how to bring other services into their practice. This will increase and generate revenue for their business going forwards.
6. We have supported one practice to write a 60 plus page marketing plan for the next 5 years on how they will take their village practice forwards to become a centre of excellence and a leader within their own area.

These are just some of the ideas that we have shared on the course. There have been countless more ideas that have been shared between the delegates both in the meals, the coffee breaks and the general discussions.
